I recently copied an image of a mario party 8(PAL) iso to a DVD+RW, at the slowest possible speed. Strangely, my Wii cannot play it. The game appears to load in the Wii disc channel, but when I click on the play icon I end up staring at a black screen. My Region is US, but I've unlocked the region-free with a configuration disc. I suspect the error may be related to the configuration disc, since everytime I load the setup screen, it appears as if my settings weren't saved, despite me saving them. I'm not sure however.
so you're telling me that I can download Wii.iso files (ready to burn) and just burn them and play them on my Wii, provided I have it modded? I been downloading Metroid Prime 3:Corruption iso and it was fine the first day it downloads straight without stopping, now i dl it, every once in a while it just stops and has a big X, i checked to see if i was out of space, but i have more than enough space.. i dont know why it keeps stop dling, i have to pause it and load it again for it to start everytime it stops by itself which is very often any idea y?

Hello. I have downloaded an ISO for Metroid prime 3 and my wii has the wiikey modship installed. When I insert the dvd I get a message that an update will take place and that it can harm the functionality of the device if it has a modchip. It also says to press reset to abort the instalation wich I did. Is there any way to avoid this and play the game?
Anyone have any idea why when I download an iso and I extract it, it say I have a CRC error. I don't think I'm getting the whole image. Am I correct?

When I unRAR to get an is and try to burn, i get an error message telling me that i dont have enough disk space, but i have plenty. And if i already have an iso and try to burn with Alcohol 120, it says it cant write it becouse its over 4.7 gigs. I am using 8gig verbatium discs dual layer. Please help.

I bought a wii from china a couple of weeks ago, its region free and also already modded so does play backed up games, but my problem is that is there a way to convert the menu from chinese/japanese to english, its not a majore deal but if its possible i would be greatful to know?
I had my Wii modded and got some backup games to work. But some other games just give the message that the Wii cannot read it.
I've tried to download other copies of the same game and still the same and also tried other media.
So basicly some games work and others don't.

Everybody here should read this guide very carefully. It will answer most, if not all your questions about downloading and burning/backing up Wii games, and what to do with .rar, .iso, .r## files.
You will also find links to some software that will be needed.
Although this is more geared toward backing up original games, just follow the instructions starting from:
* Software to unzip the Raw Dump files.Winrar
When you extract the files, choose only one of the many numbered rar files (.r00, .r01, .r02 etc). This will take all the files you just downloaded and create an ISO file for you to burn to a disc.

I have a Super Paper Mario PAL iso and i was able to burn it using NERO. the problem is my wii is unable to read the disc and i dont know why. i burned it using the slowest speed using a DVD-R. the iso file was 4.37 gb. and does it matter how big the iso is? because i've read somewhere that if it's less than 4.37 it's a "bad dump"? does that have something to do with making the game work on wii?

Hey there. I am a decent gamer who is in search of some gaming info and files. Do you know if there are any real emulators and ROMs for the Nintendo Wii that I can download online? I don;'t have a Wii right now but I would appreciate it if you can direct me to your site, any site or p2p network that I can get the files from. I have seen hints of those stuff for a few weeks now but I don't know if they are true as they are sometimes vague. It has happened a while back with older consoles. I have checked a few sites but I would appreciate it if you could lead me to a place that doesn't have false links or fake websites and webrings. If you have a file that only says r32 and it does not show as a rar file right click on it and open with.... then use the rar program it will automaticly unrar it for you
Ok i have dine everything. Download, extract, imgburn at slow speed. Tats all obivous i know how. I put Smash boros into my wii and it comes up as a gamecube game. When i click on the disk it starts to load. Then the video freezes but the audio wirks?!?!?!? this isn't just this torrent but all torrent i tried three differnt ones.?!?!?!?!help please?!?!?!?!?
is it a pal or a ntsc file?What i always do is convert it to pal and copy it to a +RW in that way i am almost 99% sure that it works.
When you put youre "backup"in it tried to do it like 2 a 3 times sometimes it does not work at once.I have some disk that need to be inserted 3 times before they start up.

I downloaded several games from this site such as Super mario galaxy, resident evil the umbrella chronicles and others. There are about 91 files in each but when I download it, not all of the files are downloaded. I use Bitcomet and it says everything is downloaded but when I go to check only about half of it is able to be winrar. Can you tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?
@Ed maybe you should try a other program like azureus or utorrent.I also have that game and everything was ok.First have a look at that or maybe you pc will store it somewhere else you never know.
i have everything i need to know about modding, extraction, and burning but i've been getting read errors on all the games that have burnt. I've use imgburn and nero at x2,x2.4,x4,x6. Sometimes the games won't load on the Wii others will get to the start and get errors, and some will go good then i get errors mid game usually. but i have not had a single game work perfectly for me. I'm wondering if its the DVDr that i'm using Dynex dvd-r(Best Buy) and Nexxtech dvd -/+(both)r(Circuit City). Both types are 16x. If anything can you guys recommend a specific dvdr that is good for the process.
I always burn with Philips dvd-r or Emtech dvd-r.With these i never had a problem i just burn it speed 1 (mean time i will play a other game) Like i said before try it first on a dvd+rw to check if the game is good.All the games i have downloaded where good.But +r that gives reall isseus try Philips or Emtech dvd-r.

d2ckey i also have that one good 1.You could play almost everything 70%of the ntsc games works that is why i always convert it to pal in that case it 99% works look post above.
And besure that you first update youre nintendo with the latest driver just hook it on the net get the new firmware and then let it chipped.The d2ckey has a tail sticking out in the future you could update it.just have a look on http://www.d2ckey.com/ for more info.But beware that if you got a update date through a NTSC game that you dont update youre PAL in that way it is bricked, look on the site for more info about that problem.For that it is importent that you first update youre nintendo.

I did what Orton said but I still can't download the complete file. I used utorrent this time to download and I still can only download about 1/3 of the total files. I checked my computer to see if it was placed somewhere else but i found nothing. I really need help with this problem. I have a modded wii and I just want to see if my wii can play downloaded games.
i know that utorrent also got problems please try it again with azureus.When you download the game be sure you will tell azureus to drop it into the map where you already have the game it will check wich files you have and he will download the one you are missing.Maybe do a virus and a spyware test.I got also those games and they work great, so it is not the games.
If azureus still not works i will think of something else but we need to see if it is not the programs.

indeed was not so good of a explain lol, i cant look at youre files but if you have only 30 winrar do you also have other files in that map?Or only those 30?
I mean by drop it in the map The map where you download the game with utorrent or bittorrent say you save it in C:\mydownloads then you must save the same file with azureus in that map.But the torrent must be the same.If you have deleted the file you could try it with azureus give it a half a hour then look in the map where you download it in and look how many files you have.
And is it not so that you only have 30 rars and the rest is different (cant get to the word) if that is the case just just let winrar open all the files and it will be good.Sometimes you get that you must rename the files to rar or just open with winrar.

I downloaded the ntsc version. There are 93 files and the only ones that can be winrar are the first 30. the remaining 63 files doesn't have the winrar icon next to it. Why is that? If i can't winrar the entire folder, I won't be able to play the game right? Maybe there's something wrong with my winrar. This is my first time trying to download games. Thanks
I understand no the rest of the files are good just click on winrar file 1 and extract it.The other files are also winrar nothing wrong with this download m8.Just be sure you have the latest winrar.
Right click on the file extract here (or in a map) and that will do the trick

Doesn't the size have to be 4.30 gigs to play the game? I read somewhere that the game has to be at least 4 gigs because that's how much a game is. Hope you can clear it up.
Yes you need to extract all the files but if you extract the winrar file #1 it will automaticly unrar the rest of the files.After you unrar it you get a iso file (looks like a cd) that file you need to burn with Imgburn and that is it.If it is still strange just add me to skype i will let you see with picture ;)

You must unrar all the files with winrar when you have done that you get a iso file that file you will burn to a dvd and play.Read some post above and it will be clear.

After you donwload the torrent this is the way to do:
press the first rar that you see unrar all the files.Just do it !!Do not say not all are rar files just do it.

Most common problems.
When you downloaded a game and you unrar it you could get a error like say r002 is correpted.What you do is write down all the errors and then delete all the bad rars.Then you will redownload the torrent, you will see it will check the files you have and it will only download the rars that you miss.You could also tried it with a rar checker (i am no fan of that).If the rars still are bad you could look on a other torrent site for the same torrent and do the same as above.
Not all the files are rars yes they are just do what i said above.
If want to unrar and you only get this message open with.....just open it with winrar it will convert itself and you are done.
When i am done figure some cod4 editing out i will put a tutorail on mine site with images so that you all could see.

Yes you could only play those games on a chipped wii.The best thing to do is to get a chip in youre wii.You could try maybe it will work for you but have a look on the internet for more info.

I winrar the file to try and get a .iso file. However this is the message that appears: The archive is either in an unknown format or damaged. It doesn't say which rar file is damaged. So what do i do in this case?
Why are guys screwing around with crap you have never done before. Its pretty straight forward and as someone else stated check on the net before you waste everyones time in a forum thats suspose to be about Wii iso.
The point of this forum is to tell people about Wii isos not teach them how to use winrar not tell they they need a modchip not tell them to use a torrent rngine but how to get get Wii iso files.
We get people who dont even as modchip installed complaining that their Wii wouldnt play the backups. Or the other idiots thinking the torrent file itself is the iso or that the download will always be an iso file not rar. My god you people are useless and should do your homework before you ask stupid and dumb question .
So here is what you need to do step by step.
1 Put a modchip in your Wii
2 download a torrent engine ( Utorrent is good)
3 Search for the Wii torrent files you want, make sure you check you region North America is NTSC, Eurpoe and Japan are PAL
4 Download the torrent file and open with you search in engine
5 after it downloads which could take a week or longer to do depends on the seeders open the file it will more than likely be in 80 or so .RAR files
6 Search and find a program on the net called WINRAR and install it.
7 Click on the first RAR file of your download and click extract. This will compile the 80 or so files into one iso format.
8 Use nero buring rom to burn the disk. Very important step Click on burn image to disk, this is important because it is not a dvd file format and nero cant read it so copies the data straight from the file. Step your burn speed not faster than 4x
9 Then insert your copied game into your " MODDED WII, MODDED WII" and way you go.
I'm looking at getting a wii but I can't decide which one to go for. I live in the uk (pal), I can a uk one with for £190. However I'm working away from home at the minute and could get a usa one for £125. I thought I could get the usa one and chip it to play copied games. Will it then play original pal games? I bought a Wii from America and installed a Wii key. However the Wii key does not seem to work. I had a boot disk that i got the last time I bought a mod chip but this does not seem to work at all. I am confident that all the connectiones are ok as they have been checked and double checked under a microscope.

Listen guys, when u download the games from utorrent, u usually get a bunch of files with endings r00, r01.......all u need to do is to click on one of these i right click on r00 one, and say extract here...Then it extracts an iso files after 5 minutes or so...Then brick block it if needed and burn it...Sometimes when u brick block games, they dont work u get a black screen, not sure y yet, im mad because i cant play my smg us, but i can play my jap version!!!!!!!
I downloaded Mario GalaxyPAL.My WII is PAL and the other games i have downloaded are ok.Mario Galaxy wanted an update and i did it.It recognize it in the channel but when i click start a black screen is coming out writing error001 unothorized device detected. So i cant play it,any ideas plz???

I am new to this downloading and find that when ever I go to download a image file I get abox saying where would I like to save the file to and it does not matter where I save the file to after 1 second it says finished.I have tryed various locations ,different file images,disconnecting my firewall etc but with no use.Please can you advise.

I downloaded the torrent of DBZ:Budokai Tenkaichi 3.extracted the ISO file and burned it with ImgBurn.my console recognizes the game and pegins to play it, but then it says that the disc can't be read.what's the problem?

I done as stated... burnt an ISO file to dvd - loaded onto the dvd thru Nero (slow speed, image etc) but when loadng on the Wii it recognises the game (mario / olympics) but when I go to start it come up with disc reading error - i've wasted 4 dvd (now getting f'd off) and yes I have had my wii modded - any ideas?

Hi, I recently downloaded Gamecube Torrents to play on my d2ckey modded NTSC-US Wii. The first game, Bomberman Generation(PAL), worked like a charm. So I decided to download Luigi's Mansion. However, after burning and putting it on my Wii, the gamecube disc was detected but there was no image whatsoever on the screen. It's blank, and it just showed Video 1 (where I connected it to); however I can hear the sound of the game. And when I click on Start I can hear the menu. Same story for when I downloaded Smash Melee (both Luigi's Mansion and SSBM are Multi5). Any tips on this? help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I recently copied an image of a mario party 8(PAL) iso to a DVD+RW, at the slowest possible speed. Strangely, my Wii cannot play it. The game appears to load in the Wii disc channel, but when I click on the play icon I end up staring at a black screen. My Region is US, but I've unlocked the region-free with a configuration disc. I suspect the error may be related to the configuration disc, since everytime I load the setup screen, it appears as if my settings weren't saved, despite me saving them. I'm not sure however.

When you get the torrent use something like utorrent or bittorrent to download it, Don't extract the iso just burn it to a DVD, You can buy mod chips online, and the best right now is Wiikey kk thanks all bye

I bought a wii from china a couple of weeks ago, its region free and also already modded so does play backed up games, but my problem is that is there a way to convert the menu from chinese/japanese to english, its not a majore deal but if its possible i would be greatful to know?

You will also find links to some software that will be needed.
Although this is more geared toward backing up original games, just follow the instructions starting from:
* Software to unzip the Raw Dump files.Winrar
When you extract the files, choose only one of the many numbered rar files (.r00, .r01, .r02 etc). This will take all the files you just downloaded and create an ISO file for you to burn to a disc.

is it a pal or a ntsc file?What i always do is convert it to pal and copy it to a +RW in that way i am almost 99% sure that it works.
When you put youre "backup"in it tried to do it like 2 a 3 times sometimes it does not work at once.I have some disk that need to be inserted 3 times before they start up.

And besure that you first update youre nintendo with the latest driver just hook it on the net get the new firmware and then let it chipped.The d2ckey has a tail sticking out in the future you could update it.just have a look on http://www.d2ckey.com/ for more info.But beware that if you got a update date through a NTSC game that you dont update youre PAL in that way it is bricked, look on the site for more info about that problem.For that it is importent that you first update youre nintendo.

I downloaded azureus. What do you mean drop it into the map? What map are you talking about? Also, i checked the files being downloaded and it still only has 30 files that are available to winrar. I know there are 90 something files on it but only about 30 can be winrar. So that's my problem. How come when i download only a few files are being downloaded? Thanks for your help.

I mean by drop it in the map The map where you download the game with utorrent or bittorrent say you save it in C:\mydownloads then you must save the same file with azureus in that map.But the torrent must be the same.If you have deleted the file you could try it with azureus give it a half a hour then look in the map where you download it in and look how many files you have.
And is it not so that you only have 30 rars and the rest is different (cant get to the word) if that is the case just just let winrar open all the files and it will be good.Sometimes you get that you must rename the files to rar or just open with winrar.

You must unrar all the files with winrar when you have done that you get a iso file that file you will burn to a dvd and play.Read some post above and it will be clear.
Will make a tutorail for burning and extracting.I am in the middle of making maps for cod4 for the pc.That is why i use this for a break time to answer qeustion nobody else did ;)
press the first rar that you see unrar all the files.Just do it !!Do not say not all are rar files just do it.
When you have unrar all the files the best way to do is to check the game for any updates this you will do with the program wiibrickblocker.This prevent youre wii getting bricked.It will only be bricked if you update a PAL with NTSC!! http://rockman.18.free.fr/img/WiiBrickBlocker_v1_3.rar
After that is done you will need to burn the iso file (looks like a cd)to a dvd-r with imgburn http://www.free-codecs.com/ImgBurn_download.htm AT THE LOWEST SPEED OR IF YOU DONT HAVE PATIENCE ON THE HALF SPEED THAT YOU DVD COULD BURN 16SPEED DVD YOU BURN AT 8 SPEED.The lowest speed is importent so that you re wii could read it better.Now put it in youre wii and play.
Problems
Most common problems.
When you downloaded a game and you unrar it you could get a error like say r002 is correpted.What you do is write down all the errors and then delete all the bad rars.Then you will redownload the torrent, you will see it will check the files you have and it will only download the rars that you miss.You could also tried it with a rar checker (i am no fan of that).If the rars still are bad you could look on a other torrent site for the same torrent and do the same as above.
Not all the files are rars yes they are just do what i said above.
If want to unrar and you only get this message open with.....just open it with winrar it will convert itself and you are done.
When i am done figure some cod4 editing out i will put a tutorail on mine site with images so that you all could see.

Why are guys screwing around with crap you have never done before. Its pretty straight forward and as someone else stated check on the net before you waste everyones time in a forum thats suspose to be about Wii iso.
The point of this forum is to tell people about Wii isos not teach them how to use winrar not tell they they need a modchip not tell them to use a torrent rngine but how to get get Wii iso files.
We get people who dont even as modchip installed complaining that their Wii wouldnt play the backups. Or the other idiots thinking the torrent file itself is the iso or that the download will always be an iso file not rar. My god you people are useless and should do your homework before you ask stupid and dumb question .
So here is what you need to do step by step.
1 Put a modchip in your Wii
2 download a torrent engine ( Utorrent is good)
3 Search for the Wii torrent files you want, make sure you check you region North America is NTSC, Eurpoe and Japan are PAL
4 Download the torrent file and open with you search in engine
5 after it downloads which could take a week or longer to do depends on the seeders open the file it will more than likely be in 80 or so .RAR files
6 Search and find a program on the net called WINRAR and install it.
7 Click on the first RAR file of your download and click extract. This will compile the 80 or so files into one iso format.
8 Use nero buring rom to burn the disk. Very important step Click on burn image to disk, this is important because it is not a dvd file format and nero cant read it so copies the data straight from the file. Step your burn speed not faster than 4x
9 Then insert your copied game into your " MODDED WII, MODDED WII" and way you go.
Now stop with the stupid questions
I'm looking at getting a wii but I can't decide which one to go for. I live in the uk (pal), I can a uk one with for £190. However I'm working away from home at the minute and could get a usa one for £125. I thought I could get the usa one and chip it to play copied games. Will it then play original pal games? Ehich chip mdo you suggest? Will it damage the wii? E.g if i play an original game is there a chance it could lock it and turn into a brick? Can I still go online with it chipped and can the usa one go online at all in the uk? Sorry for all questions. Thank you.

I bought a Wii from America and installed a Wii key. However the Wii key does not seem to work. I had a boot disk that i got the last time I bought a mod chip but this does not seem to work at all. I am confident that all the connectiones are ok as they have been checked and double checked under a microscope.
